It is believed that whenever we undergo any traumatic experience like being in an accident or suddenly losing a close family member or undergoing an operation we lose some part of our soul. We find ourselves disconnected from life but cannot pinpoint the source of our suffering.
Soul loss does not mean literally losing our Soul.
Instead, it refers to the experience of losing touch with our Soul.
Sometimes it is experienced as a chronic pain or a continued sense of a loss. We may also feel angry, dejected or frustrated without any apparent reason. We may have this recurrent feeling that something is missing in our lives, we don’t feel complete.
Some common signs that one has experienced soul loss include anxiety, depression, emotional numbness, loneliness, emptiness, chronic fatigue, feelings of hopelessness and profound dissatisfaction with life.
To regain the connection with our soul, we go through the process of soul retrieval.
Through soul retrieval, we develop an intimate relationship with the Soul within us. We become initiated into the mysteries of our innermost being, learning to listen to and trust our Core Nature rather than deny its existence.
Soul retrieval is a powerful spiritual practice that heals our soul and when we go through the process of soul retrieval we feel that something that was missing has been returned to us. I, as a healer, make sure that you feel safe and secure and work towards reunification of your soul.
Being Ensouled
Once we have recovered those lost pieces of our soul, we become more present, centered, and we regain our aliveness. Life ceases to be a dull, monotonous, depressing experience. Instead we feel that life is a gift, a mysterious adventure, something to be savored and embraced. Each one of us can have a different experience though.
It can lead to:
- Feeling of being sure and more grounded in our body
- Being energized and awake
- Greater presence in the world
- More awareness of our choices, behaviors, and decisions
- Lightness and joy
- Awareness of vast amounts of energy we didn’t know we had
- Mental clarity and a new sense of hope
- Physical wellbeing and less sickness
- A sense of purpose and renewed direction
- Deeper sleep
- Overcoming addictive dependencies (drugs, food, work)
- A new-found wholeness and sense of belonging
Remember, for complete success of the process, after finding this new energy, one has to consciously make an effort to cultivate healthy choices for a feeling of wholesomeness.
When can one go for Soul Retrieval?
Whenever we have a strong urge that we need to transform our lives to get over a physical, emotional or mental trauma we can approach a spiritual healer for this process. It happens only when we are ready from deep within to undergo this process.
